All crafted with 100% Egyptian Cotton twist string, our Rakhris are strong, comfortable, and hypoallergenic

Designed in-house by Karishma and Nisha, each Rakhri is meticulously designed and made with attention to detail.

Our Rakhris feature 100% colourfast strings made from soft Egyptian Cotton, ensuring both vibrant colours and comfort. Personalisation options make each Rakhi truly unique, reflecting the significance of the sibling bond.

We infuse a modern twist into traditional Rakhris, offering wearable styles for men and playful options for children.

Our minimalist designs prioritise simplicity and ease of wear.

To enhance the gifting experience, each Rakhi is individually packaged onto our very own Emi & Koa exclusive cushion card envelope.

We are dedicated to creating timeless symbols of affection that celebrate love, tradition, and style for your Raksha Bandhan / Rakhri celebration.

A little bit about us...

Emi & Koa is run by Karishma & Nisha, two mums from North West London who together created and launched the business in 2021.

At the end of maternity leave, we faced redundancy and zero flexible working in our collective 20 year careers within Marketing and Fashion Design.

We started to brain dump and together, came up with a luxury Rakhri product, which was already 2 years in the making...

Since Karishma’s brothers complained year after year about not enjoying wearing their Rakhris, we took this notion and ran with it.

With our combined extensive skills, we developed a brand with a clear direction. We modernised the “traditional” looking Rakhri, offering a more classy and wearable alternative. The look being minimalistic and fuss free, with the use of soft, long-lasting 100% cotton string where the dye didn’t leak and stain your clothes!

Since then, our range has naturally expanded to our growing Diwali collection and personalised Dandiya dancing sticks.

There's lots more in the pipeline and we can’t wait to further share our journey with you all!
